Engineered to provide solid lock-offs when belaying and smooth rappels, thanks to its wide, rounded ergonomics, it's less likely to jam your ropes meaning you don't lose precious climbing time before sundown. Since it's also gentler on ropes than thin-walled devices, the longevity of your ropes is improved too. The keeper cable is angled to prevent interference with ropes whilst rappelling and the convenient extra Karabiner hole allows the Piu to be easily rigged as an auto-blocking device. The result? You reach the ground after a smooth, controlled, exhilarating descent.
